Words most of us thought we would never see again... Geoff Wins!!

Geoff battled with other NASCAR greats such as Sterling Marlin, Harry Gant and Charlie Glotzbach to win the the Old School RacersReunion.com Shootout at the Music City Motorplex Friday night.

Using cars donated by drivers in the Motorplex's Sportsman Division, Geoff started on the pole but lost the lead early to Sterling Marlin down the backstretch.  Geoff got around Sterling on lap 7 and cruised to victory in the 30 lap shootout.

Geoff won the very last NASCAR CUP Series race at the famed Music City Motorplex on July 14, 1984.  He started 5th in the #5 Northwestern Security Life Chevrolet for Rick Hendrick and led 327 of the 420 laps, beating Darell Waltrip to the finish, the only other car on the lead lap.
