I love when press releases try to put a "positive" spin on the situation so as to not offend any of the parties involved. But in the case of Haas CNC, maybe they should have had someone read it a little more thoroughly before sending it out.
Here's what it said:
“Jeremy’s proven resume behind the wheel of a Cup car was a real benefit to our team,” team general manager Joe Custer said. “He stepped into the seat and did everything we asked him to and more.
"Ultimately, we were unable to provide him with the right balance, handling and speed he needed to be successful,” he added.
So let me get this straight ... what Custer said was "we suck as a team and can't properly set up a car, so we're going to fire the driver". Do I have that right?
