I've always been a little bent about Gordon's luck with engines compared to Geoff's luck. No telling what Geoff would've done with the longevity that Hendrick has with engines now. He also needed a quicker pit crew. I remember at Martinsville when he clearly had the best car. He'd follow Rusty for 50-75 laps and finally get around him and then he was gone. Maybe a half lap lead in 60 laps. Well, Mr. Richmond got hung up on the curb with 20 or so to go and Rusty came back out with the lead.
